Air Serv International Receives Second ISTAT Grant
The International Society of Transport Aircraft Trading (ISTAT) has awarded Air Serv International a $7,000 grant for the second year in a row.
“As a not-for-profit organization, Air Serv International relies on donated support such as ISTAT’s grants to sustain our humanitarian work,” said Dave Carlstrom, President and CEO of Air Serv International. “The continued support of such an esteemed and respected institution is an excellent example of the aviation community giving back through the gift of flight.”
The ISTAT Foundation was founded in 1994 to support individuals and institutions dedicated to promoting the advancement of aviation and humanitarianism. The recently awarded grant comes from the Foundation’s Humanitarian Aid Program, which focuses on the use of aviation in providing critical and life-saving services.
Air Serv International operates a fleet of six Cessna Caravans, providing “last mile” air transportation in support of humanitarian programs in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and the Republic of Chad. With an operations base located in Entebbe, Uganda, Air Serv also provides commercial air charter, facility, and aircraft maintenance services. For more information, please see .
